Founded in 2023 by Peruvian tattoo artist Jhon Cueva (Bismerone), Red Snake Tattoo Studio is based in Walthamstow, East London. The studio was created with the vision of becoming one of the best Spanish-speaking tattoo studios in the UK, offering a welcoming space for both local and international clients.
Our team specialises in black and grey realism, blackwork, neo-traditional, Japanese style, and fine line tattoos. Every design is created with precision, creativity, and respect for the craft making each tattoo a unique work of art.

We’re only a few minutes away from Walthamstow Central Underground station on the Victoria Line and a short walk from Walthamstow Queen’s Road Overground station. There are also plenty of bus routes that pass the studio, including the 34, 97, and 212. The closest bus stops are Hoe Street (stop A) and Chingford Road (stop B).

FAQs
What forms of ID do I need to bring with me to prove that I’m over 18 for a tattoo?
It’s illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18 therefore we require to see a valid/in-date photo ID, either a driver’s license or passport. If you attend your appointment without the required forms of identification, we will unfortunately not be able to tattoo you and you will not be eligible to receive your deposit back.
Is there anything I should do before my appointment?
We suggest to avoid the following before getting a tattoo:
- Avoid alcohol and drugs a minimum 24 hours before your appointment
- Be well rested and get a good night’s sleep
- Avoid excessive exercise before your appointment as this may make your appointment less comfortable
- Do not arrive to your appointment with damaged skin – if you have any queries beforehand about your skin, please get in touch
- Finally wear comfortable clothing to your appointment – loose clothing is best
